Palin is blaming Bush for her defeat in the election.  Since she's back in the news, I decided to seize the opportunity to make fun of her some more.  Apparently, courtesy of the Daily Show tonight, "Yo Mama" jokes are out, and "Sarah Palin" jokes are in.

Sarah Palin, who is rumored to have been positioning herself for a high-ranking future within the Republican party, has been exposed as more of an embarrasment than ever now that the election is over, by none other than Fox (see video).  Among the offenses:

Sarah Palin got prank called by two comedians in Montreal who claimed to be French Prime Minister Nicholas Sarkozy and didn't realize it for 6 minutes until she was told--despite very obvious clues.

A bipartisan legislative council found yesterday that Sarah Palin violated an ethics statute of Alaskan law.  Palin denies it, of course.  But the council has no actual authority and in fact recommends there be no criminal charges,

What did everyone think?  Frankly I thought Biden did a great job of promoting his ticket and not criticizing Palin.  Palin didn't screw up like she did with Couric but she hardly answered any of the questions and was never specific.  Instead she tried to relate to the audience but my reaction was "we've heard it before, tell me something new."

Sarah Palin has demonstrated her blundering idiocy this week as she failed massively in a soft interview with Katie Couric and completely missed questions from the peanut-gallery in those few instances where McCain's campaign allowed her to take them.  McCain should have seen it coming; his golden ticket couldn't last.  Palin's total ineptitude was bound to take over at some point.
