David Brooks Illudes To An Expansion Of Goverment Control

The other day, New York Times conservative columnist David Brooks published an article called "Big Government Ahead." Usually Brooks' views don't resonate with me, but I think this column has an excellent message: In an economic crisis, we need to be cognizant of how much money our goverment is spending and to what extent it is expanding its control over our lives.

Today, Senator Barack Obama was published in the Op-Ed section of the New York Times. I'll say it again. Barack Obama sent in an Op-Ed piece to the New York Times. Titled "My Plan for Iraq", this short essay is in direct response to harsh criticism from the left after Obama appeared unsure about his policy in Iraq.
